Brief Description of Program/Service

Located at 111 North York Street, Wheeling, WV 26003, the Wheeling Community Childcare Center serves children 2 to 12 years of age and offers full day and evening child care services with the primary focus being each child’s educational needs and emotional well-being.

Description of Services

The Wheeling Community Child Care Center, Inc. is interested in the overall development of the child and to this end the program is designed to enhance the physical, educational, emotional, and social growth of the child.
Preschool lessons in:

  • Language arts
  • Music
  • Math
  • Science
  • Small and Large muscle development

Staff

Six staff members:

  • 3 with bachelor’s of Science degrees in Early Education
  • 1 with an Associate’s degree in Human Services
  • 2 with high school diplomas

All staff has completed First Aid/CPR training and is registered on the WV Stars Training Registry.
