ACCEPTANCE POLICY
A. Child Behaviors Accepted by the Program*
Definitions:
1. Comprehensive Acceptance Policy
means that the program currently accepts all ot the following
behaviors:
Alcohol or
Substance Abuse
Impulsive Behaviors
Anxiety or
Irrational Fears
Inappropriate Sexual Behaviors
Compulsions
or Obsessions
Learning Problems
Cruelty to
Animals
Low Average I.Q.
Dangerous
to Others
Mentally Retarded (I.Q. 70 or below)
Dangerous
to Property
Oppositional/Defiant
Depression/Withdrawal
Physically Abusive
Developmentally
Delayed
Physically Handicapped
Dramatic Mood
Swings
Peer Problems
Eating &
Sleeping Problems
Runs away from Home or School
Eating Disorder
(e.g. anorexia)
Suspension/Expulsion
Extreme Dependency
on Others
Self-injurious Behaviors
Fire Setting
Sexual Offenses
Hallucinations
or Delusions
Suicidal Attempts
Hyperactive
Verbally Aggressive
2. Comprehensive Acceptance Policy
with Minimal Exceptions means that most of the aboue
behaviors are accepted
by the program, with specidied exceptions. These exceptions will
be noted.
3. Targeted Acceptance Policy means
that the program serves only children exhibiting specified
behaviors.
These behaviors will be noted.
B. Juvenile Offenses Accepted by the Program*
Definitions:
1. Comprehensive Acceptance Policy

Breaking & Entering
Arson
Trespassing
Kidnaping
Sexual Assault/Abuse of Others
Carrying Concealed
Deadly Weapon
Indecent Exposure
Brandishing
Deadly Weapon
Narcotics-related Crimes
Malicious
Assault
Non-narcotics Use or Possession
Simple Assault/Battery
Public Intoxicatin/DUI
Grand Larceny
Disorderly Conduct
Petit Larceny
Violation of Probation or Parole
Shoplifting
Truancy
Joyriding
Runaway
Burglary
Incorrigible
Receiving/Transferring

accepted by the program, with specified exceptions. Ecxeptions will

3. Targeted Acceptance Policy means
that the program serves only children
adjudicated
for specified offenses. Offenses will be noted.
C. Counties Served by the Program*
