Mentoring Services

A service that provides the opportunity to acquire new social behaviors or alter existing ones by reproducing a distinct response or series of responses that have been demonstrated by a model.  The purpose is to assist the child to relate and function more effectively within his/her personal, social and physical environment.  This is accomplished through a structured one-on one relationship between a child and role model as they participate in a variety of activities which serve as media for the social learning to occur.
