Ways to Give

Gifts to support young people who YSS serves are always appreciated. Contributions of any amount are appreciated and all gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. You can be assured 100% of your gift will go to programs and services. You may designate a specific program or site to receive your gift.

Donations may take many forms—direct donations, pledges made over time, personal property, stocks or other securities, real estate, investment properties, or various gift annuities.

Memorial gifts or gifts in honor of a friend or relative are one way to remember that individual and to support young people who need support and assistance on their journey to adulthood. Memorial gifts are acknowledged to the family of the deceased according to your instructions. Honor gifts are acknowledged to the person being honored along with the donor’s name.

Make youth part of your legacy

Consider making Youth Services System, Inc. a beneficiary when making your will. Your gift will make a lasting difference to young people in the Ohio Valley. Your last wishes can make dreams happen! As is true with any gift, you may specify how your gift is used and we will respect your designation.

West Virginia Tax Credits

Youth Services System participates in West Virginia’s Neighborhood Investment Program or NIP. For donors who can make donations of $500 or more, YSS can offer those donors up to a $250 West Virginia state tax credit. This can reduce your  WV personal income tax, corporate net income tax or business franchise tax. NIP tax credits are available to YSS donors on a first-come, first-serve basis.
